Frank Farmer  > Day-Trips > Annadel 2004
Dayhike at Annadel State Park, with Lisa and Karen. Nice trails, great company, lots of different plant communities. Getting along with mountain bikers.

Frank Farmer > Ferns, still beautiful, even in death
Frank Farmer > Oak tree. Many of the trees here seemd to have old snow damage. Low elevation plants like these aren't accustomed to snowfall, which occurs every few years.
Frank Farmer > Ant colony, recently active!
Frank Farmer > Signpost for the Live Oak Trail. We are leaving the North Burma Trail.
Frank Farmer > Looking east. The white cross is on a hill just south of Santa Rosa. It is in the same valley as CA Route 12. Mount Saint Helena, tallest peak in the North Bay Area, is barely peeking above the ridge.
Frank Farmer > A strange little cave. Maybe this is done by the same wacky rock stacker you can see hawking tourists in Sausalito!
