Sunny weather in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California. A group of SoCalHiker friends hiking together in a strenuous loop, over Old Baldy and the Devils's Backbone. Would they make it to the summit? Would they make it to the Baldy Ski Lift in time?

Frank Farmer > Lunch is over, and we're determined to try for the summit. Not sure if we'll come back this way, or head for Devil's Backbone.

Frank Farmer > Magellanot and WLD Moonfire, Starfire and InfiniteTrails took a break while climbing the steep area, so WLD, Magellanot and I went out on the point for a better view.
