Bear Valley-Coast Camp Looparoo 2008

Fun dayhike at Point Reyes National Seashore with the NorCal Hikers, planned and organized by Paige. We had a luncheon date with the Divas at Coast Camp. Thanks ever so much to Rich, Bex, and Theresa for help with flower identification!

Frank Farmer > Paige picked out our route. It came out to about 14 miles, total. A nice walk in the park!

Frank Farmer > After being caffeinated and energized by our meeting spot at the Bovine Bakery in Point Reyes Station, here we are at the trailhead talking with Paige about the route.

Frank Farmer > Off we go! We hiked a short distance on the Bear Valley Trail.

Frank Farmer > We turned onto the Mount Wittenberg Trail, which took us up over 1100' in short order.

Frank Farmer > Following Karen and Jerry as the trail finally levels off.

Frank Farmer > At the meadow near the Mount Wittenberg summit.
