Frank Farmer  > Day-Trips > Big Rock Ridge 2006
Dayhike to Lucas Valley Preserve, in Marin County with the Rich-less County Hikers. Rich planned this trip, but went whale-watching instead. Bree, Dick, and Michael and I went to the Preserve and had a great dayhike, climbing Big Rock Ridge. Great weather, excellent views, fine company.

Frank Farmer > Lucas Valley, Marinwood -- US Route 101 is out there. San Francisco is in the distance, obscured by fog
Frank Farmer > Heading up the trail. Dick and Bree hiked quite a bit faster than Mike and me -- we were taking lots of photos. A debris flow landslide seems to cross the trail up ahead.

Frank Farmer > Distant telecom towers. We saw that concrete structure and wondered, "is that part of Skywalker Ranch?" Stay tuned ...
Frank Farmer > Dick and Bree. It looks like they are on the back of large animal.
