Frank Farmer  > Day-Trips > March of the Elephant 2007
March had snow, thanks to a stormy end to February. Perfect conditions for a snowshoe dayhike and ascent of Elephants Back, near Carson Pass, with Bonnie and Jean. They wanted to go snowshoeing, so I suggested this as our destination. I had been here before, on a great daytrip with Jason, David and Bex in 2005. Here are Bonnie's photos from today's hike.
