Summit parking lot. A bunch of bicyclists had ridden up. I was jealous of their aerobic conditioning! Lots of cars, but not too crowded on this sunny Saturday. But where were my hiking buddies? I expected them to appear either at the road at the left or the trail in the center.

Dayhike around Mount Diablo in Northern California. A nice, sunny day -- warm but not too hot. A great hike, organized by Bonnie. Same hike as 2004, except in a counter-clockwise direction, rather than clockwise. Our group consisted of Bonnie, Daniela, Bree, and Frank.
