Day hike up Mount Tallac near Lake Tahoe, with Bonnie and Bree. A beautiful, sunny day, great company. The skies were a bit hazy, from distant wildfire smoke, but that didn't spoil the day. Bonnie, what a great idea! Thanks for inviting us!

Frank Farmer > Our route for today. We started at the trailhead opposite Baldwin Beach, off CA-89, near the NW shore of Fallen Leaf Lake. The route is about 4.5 miles each way, with about 3,300' gain/loss.
