Frank Farmer  > Day-Trips > Sugarloaf in the Clouds 2005
Dayhike at Sugarloaf State Park. Cloudy start, rainy finish. Challenging trek with old and new friends. This place deserves a return visit, in better weather.

Frank Farmer > Old Red Barn -- Now it sank in where we really were. We are on the spur trail for the Old Red Barn. It is a very cool location, but our only choice is to backtrack. Not a serious problem, however.
Frank Farmer > Old fireplace bricks. It must have been magical to have a house way up here.
Frank Farmer > Old stairs, leading to nowhere.

Frank Farmer > Jason, with his hi-tech umbrella. At this point, it began raining steadily, which continued for the rest of the day. This was my last photo. But our hike was only one-third done! We still had six miles to go. Karen shot more pictures after this.
