Dayhike to Twin Lakes and Island Lake in Desolation Wilderness, with Karen, Lisa, and Eric from the Yahoo Sacramento Hikers Group. A great day in the mountains! My first time hiking in this area, despite living in Sacramento since 1980. A few days after our hike, a serious forest fire occurred near Wrights Lake.
