Dayhike and Ferry Boat Loop Trek, from SF Presidio, to Lombard Street, to Coit Tower, to Ferry Building, to Sausalito, to Fort Baker, to Golden Gate Bridge, and back to SF Presidio. Another great daytrip, with Rich and the County Hikers!

Frank Farmer > Rich leads our group at the start of the hike. We parked at the Presidio Parade Gound. Headed for Crissy Field and the Marina Green, then over to Fort Mason.

Frank Farmer > Palace of Fine Arts. The Exploratorium is just to the right of the palace dome.

Frank Farmer > Rich pauses at Fort Mason, so everyone can catch up. We need to climb up a steep staircase, to reach the access road which will take us over to the Municipal Pier.

Frank Farmer > Our first big staircase of the day! It won't be the last!

Frank Farmer > Looking back at Fort Mason. Thousands of US Army troops transitted through this fort, during WW II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. It is now a multipurpose facility, hosting art shows, concerts, and other fun stuff.
