Starting out on our hike, after passing through Juniper Campground -- The first part of the Deer Flat Trail goes down hill and over into the Deer Flat Basin

Summit loop dayhike at Mount Diablo State Park, with Bonnie and Daniela. We were joined by a new friend, Lee, at a designated meeting point along the way. Cloudy but pleasant weather. An excellent hike.
