Backpack trip with friends Trailbunny, Bill, and Spencer, to North Fork of the Kings River and Portal Lake area, in California's High Sierra. Four started the trip, two finished. Frank Farmer > With Bill, as he is about to take off for the trailhead -- Bill is a great guy. He did not want to go back, but it was the best thing to do. Looking forward to hiking with him again.

Frank Farmer > Bill sets out for Maxson Meadow TH. I talked with him after the trip, and he made it out A-OK.

Frank Farmer > Tiocampo and TB, at Post Corral Meadow -- This left two of us, until our planned meet-up with Spencer in a couple of days. Time for us to get moving!
