Frank Farmer  > Day-Trips > Cool Auburn Trail 2005
Dayhike with Bonnie and Jean. We hiked on the Quarry Trail, where CA 49 crosses the American River. We hiked about 4.25 miles upstream on the Middle Fork of the American River.

Frank Farmer > Bridge-River Panorama. The Foresthill Bridge spans the North Fork of the American River, while the route we hiked on follows the Middle Fork. It was a fun hike. Would enjoy coming back here some time. Thanks to Bonnie for suggesting this venue.
