Frank Farmer > Western end of Lower Echo Lake -- When the lakes are full, Lower and Upper Echo lake are internavigable, at the same water surface elevation.
Frank Farmer > Granite dome above Echo Lake
Frank Farmer > Dead tree standing, cliffs above
Frank Farmer > Pano looking toward Echo Lake Dam, at the east end of the lake -- This is a natural lake, with a dam that raises the water surface about another 20 feet.
Frank Farmer > Claire, Rich, Mike -- Taking a break, making adjustments.
Frank Farmer > Looking east, across Upper Echo Lake -- This lake has several lovely islands, which probably make boat navigation a bit of a challenge.
Frank Farmer > Pano view of Upper Echo Lake -- Showing the glacial valley forming the lake basin
Frank Farmer > Pano view of Ralston Peak and its ridge -- US 50 and the American River canyon are on the other side
