Frank Farmer > Our hike route map. Everyone hiked up to Bald Mt (purple route), where we had lunch. We pondered hiking down and back to the Red Barn (red dashed route), but decided against it. We all continued on via the Gray Pines Trail (white route). Karen and Jerry led a group down the Headwaters Trail via the Red Mt Trail (red route). The rest of us took the Brushy Peaks Trail (blue route). Everyone returned to the trailhead via the Hillside Trail (yellow route).
Frank Farmer > Route map at Pinnacles National Monument. Dick, Geno and I dayhiked to North Chalone Peak from the Visitors Center on Saturday (solid red line). On Sunday Rich, Geno, and Dick hiked a loop to the High Peaks, Balconies Caves, and West Chalone Creek (solid blue line). An interesting extension of the first hike is to continue past North Chalone Peak, on to South Chalone Peak, then up Bear Creek and on to the park campground (dashed red line). I hope to come back here and hike some more!
Frank Farmer > Trip route map. Our route was out and back, from North Lake, over Lamarck Col. We base camped at Sapphire Lake. Rod and I dayhiked to Black Giant Pass, while Russ, Russell, Karl and Alan hiked through the Ionian Basin. They also climbed several other peaks.
