Frank Farmer > Our trip route (at least mine). Red going in, blue going out. The hike out included a couple of side trips, one to retrieve Paige's sleeping pad that blew away, and a second as I tried following a trail along the crest. It turned out to be the route to Frog Lake, which I wasn't interested in visiting on this trip. Also shown on the map is where Barbara and Steve and I all ran into each other, homing in on Barbara's whistle.
Frank Farmer > Our hike route map. We hiked about 4.5 miles each way, nine miles total.
Frank Farmer > Trip Map. We hiked from Badger Pass Ski Resort to our campsite near Ostrander Rocks, about 7.5 miles each way. The folks staying two nights did a snowshoe dayhike to Sentinel Dome and then cross country down to the Glacier Point Road. The dayhike was also about 7.5 miles.
