Lamarck Evolution 2003

Trip route map. Our route was out and back, from North Lake, over Lamarck Col. We base camped at Sapphire Lake. Rod and I dayhiked to Black Giant Pass, while Russ, Russell, Karl and Alan hiked through the Ionian Basin. They also climbed several other peaks.

Karl and Alan, after they caught up with us at Upper Lamarck Lake. Our previous hike together was in 2001, to Humphreys Basin and Bear Lakes Basin. Our group was complete for this hike!
