Larry's Rockbound Ramble 2007

Searching for the Enchanted Pools, near Wrights Lake, on the edge of the Desolation Wilderness. Larry (AKA WimpeHiker) led Renée and me on a rambling hike on the Rockbound and Tyler Lake Trails, then short XC down to the upper Enchanted Pool. From there, we went to the lower Enchanted Pool, then XC up a gully and on slabs back to the Twin Lakes Trail and back to the trailhead. It was a warm, sunny day. The water was lower than normal, due to the light snowpack, but there was still plenty of water to enjoy. This is a special place. If you go there, be gentle and leave no trace!
